How do you prepare your DNA collection kit?
Making your own collection kit is easy and saves you time. The supplies you will need are Q-tips (swabs) and paper envelopes. Follow the instructions below.

Using 2 cotton swabs, swab the inside of the cheek with an up-and-down motion for 20 seconds.
* You are collecting the skin cells from the inside of the cheek, not just saliva.

Put the swabs in a paper envelope and seal with tape. DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGS.
On the envelope, write the Name of the Person and the Order ID Code you receive upon checkout.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each person.

Put the sample envelopes in a mailing envelope with a printed copy of the confirmation page OR printed confirmation email.

Send your completed kit to the address listed below. The faster you get your samples to the lab, the sooner you will have results.
